About The Chef

Growing up in Australia my passion for cooking began at a very early age whilst helping my mother in the kitchen.  She is a phenomenal cook!  My father kept an organic vegetable garden from which I will never forget the taste of it's sun ripened tomatoes. As a small child I remember pulling sweet baby carrots from the soil, which I would wash under the garden tap and pop straight into my eager mouth.....Scrumptious!

As I grew older my passion developed as I travelled extensively throughout Europe and South-East Asia leading me to learn more about different cuisines which both inspired and enhanced my international repertoire.

My culinary training continued as I began to work in kitchens in Australia, U.S and India where I had the opportunity to apprentice with highly skilled chefs from Europe and Asia.  For a period of 3 ½ years, I worked as an Executive Chef for an international foundation, near Mumbai, India, where I managed the kitchens and designed menus from many different culinary traditions to feed hundreds of people daily.  I was then invited to assist in creating menus at the foundation headquarters in upstate NY.   I worked there for more than 4 years, designing and preparing meals for guests and events.  In January 2008 I launched my personal chef business in NYC.

I have a Diploma in Nutrition (Australia), giving me the ability to create meals that support wellbeing.  It gives me great joy cooking for others and I focus my efforts on planning meals that are not only creative and delicious but well balanced.
